Is losing your job really a bad thing?

In the continued theme of getting people back to work, I wanted first to drive anyone reading this to Gary Vaynerchuk's YouTube Channel because 99.9% of my motivation comes from Gary!
Anyway, this will be short because frankly, it is easy to grasp. I know after graduating college and getting my first of many corporate jobs I had the wrong perspective.
I looked at each job as my last ("a career") rather than as an extension of my education. I am a big believer in context shaping my reality, and by entering into a relationship with each employer with a skewed perspective, I formed a reality that centered around that said job. I never want my life centered around any job...unless of course, that job is an extension of my education!
So looking back I wish each, and every job was a POSITIVE learning experience because, to be honest, many of them just weren't, period.
So my advice to anyone beginning a corporate career, have a "stepping stone perspective." What I mean by a "stepping stone perspective" is using your new job as you would a book. A deep dive into the practice of real life business that will teach you more than college ever will. Each new job is simply a new chapter.
So in closing remember, no matter your age, life is a journey. The more you learn from your current surroundings, the better you will fare in the next leg of your trip through life.
